The Firehouse Art Collaborative (FAC), is a community based project, located in the East San Francisco Bay Area, California. Specifically in the cities of Berkeley, Emeryville and Oakland. 1313 9th Street, 2nd Floor Berkeley Ca, 94710: Located in the newly developed Gilman District area, upstairs from Philz Coffee, Doughnut Dolly, Farm Burger and across the street from Whole Foods. Individual art studio spots in an open floor plan environment, encouraging collaboration and inspiration by the artists around you. Whether you are a fresh art school graduate, self taught newb or seasoned local artist, this location gives you a chance to rent in an affordable communal setting. The art studio spots start at the low rate of $300 per month.
Studios Available Include: Secured Doors, 24 hour access, Elevator, Private Bathrooms, Utility Sink, New Central Heating & AC, Metal Rolling Rack with or without plywood walls - for each space, Shared off street parking lot, Great Natural Light! Lots of windows and skylights! Each space has its own unique division of wall space and window exposure. Some spaces can be combined to create one larger space, or shared with other artists to create smaller spaces.
Prices are generally around $300/month for a 7.5 x 10.5 space but size can be flexible. The utilities for each person is $10 per month and janitorial for each person is $6 per month.

1790 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94709: Mythos Gallery began collaboration with the Firehouse Art Collective at Firehouse Gallery North, 1790 Shattuck in Berkeley during the time of January 2014. Karen Zullo Sherr and Sue Steel curate shows.The art gallery is available for private event rentals as are semi-private art studios upstairs. Weekly painting and drawing groups with models are held by East Bay Figure Painting.

3192 Adeline Avenue, Berkeley CA 94703: Entrances are along Adeline Street and Martin Luther King junction. Seven Micro storefronts within the Adeline Indie Micro Mall.
The micro store front contains a cafe that serves the community with beverages and donuts. The cafe is called Rasa Caffe. The music rehearsal and recording studio is full for now, but we can connect you with the manager and he might be able to find you a time slot.
1831-1835 Harmon Street, Berkeley CA, 94703: Firehouse Art Collective managed shared apartments, edibleback yard, art studios, music rehearsal and recording studio, wood shop. Two Micro storefronts. UFO Gallery in one of the storefronts.
6117 San Pablo Avenue, Emeryville CA 94608:
This location has been open since May 2014.The Lottie Rose House is a beautiful old Victorian building, remodeled with modern amenities, while keeping the charm of old oak wood floors and a clean simple interior.
It has fourteen private rooms that are rented monthly. It can be made into art studio, home office, bedroom, depending upon what you need as a live in artist. The prices vary by size and location in the building.
It has four full bathrooms with new appliances and tiling, a large light kitchen with all new appliances to be shared communally with open large dining area and tables. Wifi, Garbage and utility fees will be shared as agreed upon lease signing.
