Break out film for Firehouse Art Collective! Our first Producing Credit on a feature film. This project was a work of love, providing mentor-ship to a group of 40 high school students in the Palo Alto area, spanning 5 different high schools. Each student embraced their role as either writer, director, editor, director of photography, or producer within their character groups. Over arching sponsor and production company was Elysium-Bandini Studios. The Producing Team and class teachers consisted of James Franco, Tom Franco, Betsy Franco and Iris Torres. Based on the book Metamorphosis: Junior Year, written by Betsy and illustrated by Tom. Ester "Woj" Wojcicki was our sponsoring teacher from Paly Palo Alto High School, where the Franco boys went to school and where the story takes place.
